Worst Restaurant Dessert - The Results Will Shock You!

Going out tonight? It's always hard to go out with a date or just some friends and try to eat healthy. You're thinking, "I'm having fun with my friends so let me eat what I want to!", or something like that. You go to the restaurant and eat everything on the menu, go home, and now you feel like crap!

Don't worry, I am coming to your rescue, here are my recommendations!

1. We all eat out every once in a while, and the name of the game is "PORTIONS". Every restaurant you go to now will give you a heaping plate of food, and when you look at it, you think that you will eat all of it. Portioning your food, some for now and some for tomorrows lunch, will help you keep calories low and even save some money for tomorrows lunch meal. This does not really work with ice cream, since it will melt and not be enjoyable the next day, so be sure to order in groups. Share the ice cream with your friends and you wont regret having only a few bites!
2. Don't eat ice cream at ANY restaurant, as it will be very very unhealthy for you. They give you heaping amounts, and they definitely pile on the toppings too. Try to fight your urge, and eat the healthier ice cream that you have at home.

To give you some inspiration to SHARE your ice cream with your friends, or to not eat ice cream at restaurants at all, take a look at what I found.

Chili's is a great restaurant and I love going there every once in a while. When I first saw their ice cream dessert, I was in love. Then I was in fear, when I went to their website to find out how many calories and fat was loaded into one dessert. Embed the following information into your mind and I am positive that you will think twice before you order dessert at a restaurant!

The Verdict: Chili's Chocolate Chip Paradise Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream

Calories: 1,600 Fat: 78 g Carbs: 215 g

The fat in this one dessert can be equivalent to about 7 subs from Subway (take your pick). That's enough subs to keep you full for over 2 days!

The bottom line, if your going to eat out and get dessert too, then share with your friends or get the smallest servings possible. If your going to Chili's, get their "single serving Sweet-Shots", they're divine!
