There is no sense trying to sugar things with you right now. If you are reading this then there is probably a great chance that your ex is cheating on you with another. 1. They are becoming distant with you. You find that they are talking to you less, paying less attention to you and not communicating as much with you anymore.

2. They are not being intimate with you anymore. There is no sex or romance. This is a strong sign that something might be up with them.
3. They have been spending a lot of money lately for no reason. This is usually the sign that they are going out with another person(restaurants, shopping, clothing, makeup to look nice for the person) I wouldn't come to any final conclusions, but I would definitely count this as a possible sign.
4. They start to do different habits. Watch different kinds of movies, listen to different kinds of music, where different color makeup, etc.
5. You never hear them telling you "I love you" or "I care for you". If they were saying this to you before, than the fact they're not saying it now is a definite signal.
6. Stops talking about your relationship - They hate talking to you about the relationship. The try to avoid the topic, and any sign of bringing it up bothers them and makes them mad.
7. They make excuses for not giving you attention or caring about you. "I'm too tired" or "I don't have time" are definitely some excuses you hear a lot.
8. If you accuse them of cheating they fire back with things like: "How could you say that?" "I can't believe you think I would cheat on you!" "Why would I do such a thing?"
