Are you facing problems with your abdominal training routines? One of the most often heard problems that most fitness buffs have is that they get bored with doing the same abs training every day. This leads them to being bored and stagnant in their abdominal trainings. And what is the simple solution to this problem?
You guess it! Play around with your workouts. Switched the exercises, mixed the days, do whatever you can to make the workouts different.
Shock
If you are those who works out their abs everyday, alternate days or once per week, try to alternate the frequency each week so that your muscles get shocked and not get used to the usual routine. Change the intensity of each workout as well. The whole point is to not allow the body to get used to the same workouts.
Another solution will be to break up trainings your stomach muscles into 3 portions. Usually, we will try to target each portion of the stomach into these 3 groups so that we can give all 3 parts the attention it needs.
Lower abs
Obliques
Upper abs
Instead of training the whole portion of your stomach muscles, concentrate on one area each day.
Maybe you will do the lower abs on Monday, the obliques on Tuesday and the upper abs on Wednesday. Then rest the abs and train the whole abdominal on Friday. Just vary the combinations such that your muscles continues to get shocked and most importantly, you do not get bored.
When a person is bored and not working out, hopefully, they do not turn to eating to kill that boredom. So for your abdominal training routines, try out the above strategies to shock your abs and get that deep definition of your abs that you deserved.
