All good things come to an end and so has your relationship. You have been dumped and your ex tells you he/she doesn't like you. You still want them back but are completely lost. You cannot approach them for a make up because you know they don't even like you anymore. You cannot stand being away from them and cannot think of going near them. Before you lose your sanity, pull up your socks and try these tricks.
Communicate
Even if you are sure they don't like you, take the risk and at least call them up or try meeting them at some neutral ground - maybe at a mutual friend's party or an office get together if both of you are office mates. In modern days, absence does not make the heart grow fonder. It makes space for others. So be visible and keep your chances up.

Show maturity and dignity in the way you carry yourself in front of your ex. Don't behave like an immature teenager by pleading with them to take you back. This will actually make them loathe you. Don't look desperate or needy. Be visible but not accessible. Let them not have the pleasure of seeing you grieving over the break up. Instead, shock them by being friendly towards them, but with a distance.
Pamper Yourself
When you were with your ex you might not have found much time for yourself. Now that you are by yourself, show some concern for yourself. Join the gym or some language classes. Upgrade your skills to move ahead professionally. It will help you build your self esteem and you will also get noticed by your ex for the positive changes.
Think Rationally
Your ex must have pointed out the faults they see in you or the reasons which have driven them away from you. Think about it with a clear mind and try to get rid of the negatives. Mend your ways and let them know that you have changed for good.
